RX Type Ring joint gasket are made in accordance with API 6A, and in solid metal like soft iron/SS304/316/321 and alloy items.

The Junio Style RX ring-joint gasket is an adaptation of the standard Style R which energizes on assembly. The RX ring joint gasket is designed to fit the same groove design as a standard Style R, making the joints interchangeable.

Consideration should be given to the difference in finished make-up distance.The modified design uses an energizing on assembly effect which improves the efficiency of the seal. Designs are also available for Subsea applications.

The RX Gaskets are manufactured in accordance with JPI-7S23, ANSI B16.20 and API 6A used on the ring type joint flanges specified in JPI-7S-15, ANSI B16.5, API spec 6A and MSS sp-44. These Gaskets are manufactured in different solid metal types like soft iron/SS304/316/321 metal and other alloy items.
